  1. As usual, Sam’s wonderful sense of colour and pattern come to the fore in these lovely cards. At first glance, it’s the colours that stand out, but the designs are complex and invite close inspection. Multiple layers create depth and interest and you can see something different everytime you look. The envelopes are great and beautifully complement the cards with their vibrancy, and it’s really nice to see an artist involving themselves in the whole production process, from the initial creative design to its final presentation to potential customers.
    Well done, Sam.

  2. The cards are beautiful and unique and the envelopes are so original and clever. Mixing and matching the envelopes with the cards a great pleasure. I will buy more – perhaps some spring colours and maybe even more collages like your art work…beautiful xxxTina

Sam’s cards are warmly coloured, quite mysterious; they’re unique and every time You look at one of them You discover a new, small, hidden detail… Someway they remind You what life is: a continuous Surprise.

  4. these cards are stunning….the original collages are visually stimulating, fascinating, intriguing and in some unaccountable ways, satisfying. I think this is because they are quietly cleaver and always invite the viewer into a complex world of architectural dreams and imply a narrative the viewer is free to play within…with there plan white insides the allow the sender to use the cards for many purposes from celebrations to friendly hellos….robert golden

When I first had a look to your grretings cards with collage technique, not foregoing the envelopes (!), I thought to myself I was looking at something quite genial, made ‘from nothing’ and becoming ‘something’ ! I immediately ‘wanted’ the complete series for myself plus some to send to special friends who would appreciate them. And I acted ! Nowadays recycling appears to be fashionable, but during recession times it becomes a social committment to reduce wastes and doing something with them. And there you come Sam, with you ‘clinic eye’ plus creativity, showing your patience and talent. Well done !
